Sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, this program is an outgrowth of the tragic events on 9/11. It is designed to promote partnerships between U.S. companies and Customs to prevent terrorism by securing our international supply chain.
Not only is the certification an assistance to the Department of Homeland Security the benefits to Peerless and our international partners will be noticeable. A few examples include:
- Virtual elimination of Custom’s inspection of goods, regardless of alert level
- Added security procedures for our facilities
- Added security throughout our supply chain
- The ability to provide suppliers and customers with a C-T PAT certified partner
U.S. Customs will be in Indianapolis on April 18 to conduct the validation process.
The certification was the culmination of literally years of effort by Jo and her team and we congratulate them on what will be a benefit to not only to Homeland Security, but to Peerless partners around the world.
