Features
- Enclosed-type bronze impellers are standard construction, but other materials are available. They cover a wide range of flow / head conditions and are balanced for smooth operation.
- Peerless Pump standard bowls are cast with integral vanes to guide the flow to the next stage with minimum losses and maximum efficiency. All bowls are porcelain-lined for protection and efficiency.
- Dual bowl bearings (pioneered by Peerless Pump) protect the shaft and extend the life of the pumps. Both bronze and rubber seals protect the shaft and impellers against wear.
- Pumps can be product lubricated (open lineshaft) or lubricated by oil, grease or fresh water (enclosed lineshaft).
- The standard cast iron discharge head can handle pressures up to 400 psi and is standardized to accommodate the maximum number of NEMA motor sizes. Options include fabricated steel construction, underground discharge and more.
